We have just recently finished a full Nut & Bolt Restoration of this Series 1 Landrover. This has taken us around 18 months. I had origionaly set about restoring this vehicle for my personal collection, however due to other ventures & storage issues, I have decided to sell.
Here we have a 1957 Diesel version of the series 1. The diesel engine was only introduced into production Landrovers in 1957, so this is a very early diesel model.
As you can see in the photos, the origional vehicle before the restoration was a great solid example. We took a painstaking time restoring as I wanted to keep all the origional panels & bulk head. Not 1 panel was replace during the process including the bulkhead which are notorious for rot.
The chassis as you can see after sandblasting was in extremely good shape.
Full details of work
It would be easier to say waht we haven't done
Body removed from chassis
Chassis stripped & powder coated

All bodywork panels repaired
All metal work repaired

Basically a full nut & bolt restoration, please enquire if any further questions.
These Series 1 Landrovers values are only going one way. A solid investment that you can also enjoy.
